For the past few months, I've been enjoying some bedtime stories before going to sleep. It's a great way to unwind, and immerse the mind in a fantasy realm that reminds you of 'another world'. With some luck (or providence!), you may even dream about it later.
So, I've picked up Chronicles of Narnia and leisurely read a chapter a day... easy-reading, adventures, unicorns, giants and the sort. Won't stick some knots in your head that keep you awake the whole night.
It's been great way of spending the last few minutes of a day. Aslan, the great lion, is a type of Christ. "He is not a tame lion, though he's a good lion".

Yesterday I was reading abt this donkey masquerading as Aslan and deceived some dwarfs. When the good guys told them the truth, these dwarfs became disillusioned and stop believing in Aslan at all..
"Who's to know that u guys are not trying to cheat us too?"
It reminds me of how the world is today. We're so jaded with the fakes, that we dare not believe in the Real.
What bedtime story next? I'm thinking of Lord of the Rings... or Simarillion...
