Best Friend's Wedding

My sister is getting married tomorrow... A whirlwind of emotion is churning beneath my laid-back exterior, guess I'd have to process them later.

Perhaps it will hit home on monday. Now, it's a hurricane of activities - play hosts to relatives, deflect hints to get married sooner, pray for good weather.

Had been spending last weekend in office, rushing for a project.
Too busy to reflect.

Sister is gonna marry Kok Meng, my ex-classmate in Anderson School. We were in the same class and church youth group while we were teens.

Yet romance only blossomed late into their varsity days.

One of the stumbling blocks was because he 'couldn't' cast out demons, heal the sick and do miracles.

Yup, my sister had very high 'charismatic' standards.

We were part of a 'renewal' youth group while KM's dad is part of the conservative board of elders. To borrow Alpha's dictum, revival to us meant getting a drum set.

That put KM in an odd position of being peacemaker.
He was just a 'normal' evangelical (Methodist) youth leader.

But he is a person of integrity and steadfastness. Down to earth. Dependable.
Obviously loves her very much.

Perseverance paid off.

Now, they will start a family together. I pray that they will honor the Lord in a household of faith and continue to bless others through Community Baptist.

Oh, btw... My sister turns out to be more 'cautious' of 'Heaven is so real' stuffs. And Kok Meng, rumor has it that he's starting to be more 'open' to the supernatural.

A marriage made in heaven... :)
