Narnia

This December, bring your friends to watch the movie "Narnia" based on CS Lewis' children storybook "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe".

It's a good conversation starter, to engage culture. Some themes would be on creation, the fall and redemption. Aslan is good, but he is not tame.

“It isn’t Narnia, you know,’ sobbed Lucy, ‘It’s you. We shan’t meet you there. (on Earth) And how can we live, never meeting you?’

‘But you shall meet me, dear one,’ said Aslan.

‘Are — are you there too, Sir?’ said Edmund.

‘I am,’ said Aslan, ‘But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there.’”

Worst case scenario: The director (Andrew Adamson of Shrek fame) will get rid of some or all of the Christian elements.

Hope that doesn't happens! :(

:) Someone had a sneak preview on the movie and said it was 'faithful'... They even prepared some notes by which we can 'share the gospel' via the movie... Do check it out, the link is in the post above.
