Too Busy To Study?

For some reasons, half a dozen 20-somethings I know were considering to do formal theological education.

But urban realities of busyness and travels dampen many a good intention.

Fret not... Bro. Ong sent me some info from Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS) where they have embarked on a modular study format for those in Klang Valley and elsewhere.

He wrote
"This means you do the pre-seminar studies on your own (could be reading, watching the VCD they provide) and then attend the seminar (which can be one weekend only) or 2-4 weekends (one weekend per month) and then do the required post-seminar assignments.

For those of you who travel a lot due to yr work, this may be ideal as you can plan in advance as well as it is not weekly.

Especially for those who prefer to do some self-study, short intensive seminars (instead of travelling weekly), and travel outstation a lot. So no excuse for those who claim they are too busy travelling and what not.

Give it a try!!!"

Some classes which will commence soon:

Biblical Interpretation(Dr Bill Lawson)
Worldview (Dr Bruce Little)
Christian Theology (I) (Dr Sunny Tan)
Pastoral Epistles(Dr Ben Merkle)

Contact dean@mbts.net.my for more info.

Sounds like a good option. Hey, maybe you should link up the half-dozen of 20-something. Studying is more fun dat way.
