Daniel Khoo and Gim Han ruefully wonder where have the real men gone?
WANTED: "Real men with a chestful of character and faith..."
I agree... When Soo Inn preached about singlehood recently, I also asked him to 'wallop' the guys for being too 'passive' in matters of courtship too.
But how come ar? Guys and gals, here is your cue to call and tell us your theories or opinions on why they are becoming rare and what can we do about it?

>> I also asked him to 'wallop' the guys for being too 'passive' in matters of courtship too.
In my next BGR talk, I plan to include this:
>> 'wallop' the girls for being too 'active' and frighten the guys/leave no room for them to take initiatives.
Btw, I think you put a wrong link for Daniel's blog. ;)
The broadcast of this week's White Horse Inn broadcast is rather interesting: 'A Sentimental Journey'. It explores how contemporary Christianity may have slipped into a bias towards feminine values, causing masculinity to be undermined (not in an activistic way, but naturally as feminine values are raised up).
The reason why i found this to be interesting is because i think this may be an explanation as to why the Church of today has tended towards a non-confrontational approach with regards to doctrine, church discipline bla bla....
Do catch it: http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/the_white_horse_inn/
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Interested in discussing what impacts you guys see this may have on contemporary Christianity.
Sometimes i wonder if it's because of mushy, overly sentimental worship songs that drive away te guys hehehe
