In the first volume of Man + God, the Introduction explained:
The volume then went on to present a visual smorgasbord of man's perceptions of God and spawned a series of accompanying exhibitions in such diverse places as Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Singapore, New York and Stuttgart. The creative juices really flowed for Man + God I, and the discussions that have been ignited continue to flavour conversations in some of the most unexpected of locations. We would hate to staunch the flow.
But how do we make a good thing even better?
That's where you come in.
The forthcoming companion volume, Man + God II, will showcase in words what the first volume did in visuals. Tell us, up to a maximum of 1,500 words,
While we are encouraging submissions from a wide spectrum of religious beliefs, this book, at the end of the day, points people to the Way, the Truth and the Life.
That's why it's important for us that Christian writers like yourself do present an engaging, thought-provoking viewpoint that'll help the seeker to think more
critically and deeply about this issue of a real faith. And that you'll have as much fun writing it as the reader will have reading it!
You have a choice of writing in English or Mandarin, and it would be great to get your submission by the last day of November 2006. The Art4Soul Editorial Team* reserves the right to make editorial changes as we see fit, but you will have a chance to vet the final copy before we hit the press. In the event that we're pleasantly overwhelmed by the response that comes in, the Editorial Team will also have the final say regarding whether your piece appears in hard copy or on our Man +
God II website.
