Let The Music Rule

Soo Inn: "So Ken and Shirene, thank you for being brave enough and creative enough and skillful enough to express your lives together through dance. Ken you were given the mandate to lead the family. But if both you and Shirene give yourselves to hearing and responding to the Divine Music your dance will continue, and it will continue to be beautiful, and it will continue to be a blessing to you and to those privileged to be in your lives. Ole!"

Dave: "Dear Ken and Shirene, many thanks for sharing your contagious passion and zest for life with us... Worship and vows exchange by the beach was picture perfect. Thanks for allowing me the honor to walk alongside during the heights of faith and the valleys of doubt, even if my inscrutable theories may raise more problems than they solve... like in the dance, Ken, may your masculine responsibility be to lead with tenderness, provide her with strength to shine and literally, "save her neck" sometimes... Shirene, may your feminine, nurturing strength affirm and support him to be all that he can be. You both have taught me so much more than you realised."

Dave, all credit must go to the "neck savee", not the "neck saver", because alot of trust goes into allowing oneself to be saved by the neck. Like you said, "Shirene, may your feminine, nurturing strength affirm and support him to be all that he can be." It was Shirene's trust in me to be her "neck saver" that really put me in the spotlight (I was initially chickens**t to do this move, but she was confident of pulling it off).

Thanks Shirene, for being my spotlight.
