Focus on the Family

Usually, I listen to the radio while driving to work. But the past few days, I tried something different, which i thot of commending.

Well, Focus on the Family has a clearance sales of cassettes, going for RM 3. I sapu'ed some titles which you may find interesting:

- The sanctity of Life (Greg Koukl)
- Combating Pornogaphy
- Phil Johnson vs Will Provine (evolution)
- Hugh Ross vs Duane Gish (creation days)
- Money Matters
- Relativism (Chuck Colson)

So, it is a rewarding way to make use of the time on the road.

For instance, I've been a fan of Greg Koukl. The ministry is geared towards equipping "Christians to think more clearly about their faith and to make an informed and gracious defense for classical Christian values in the public square."

He said, "Revolutions don't usually start with a gunshot or a canon. It normally starts with an idea. And ideas are not shouted from rooftops. More often than not, they are whispered..."

We are living at a momentous time in history when 'humanness' is dying in our logic, living, language and law (in that order). The idea is human life is not valuable and special in itself.

Abortion, euthanasia, stem cell research, infanticide, granny dumping etc. are outworking of this idea - "There is a human life that is not worth living because of its quality of life, contribution to society, ability to get well, have a bright future etc"

A friend is burdened to start some kind of pro-life network in KL, (there is one in Kuching already) contact me if ur keen to do something about it.
