Tak Sampai Hati

Tak sampai hati to leave my Mom in Puchong while my sista and I go berhappy-happy in Port Dickson... Last minute, I got to know that another Mommy will be there, so decided to bring her along.

At first, its a struggle cos' er... what wud people think??? I gotta restrain my erm... fishing activities, right?

But it turned out fine, in the end.

For example, she got the chance to interview potential daughter-in-laws on my behalf. Prem was in the finals.

When I held her hand while walking the beach, some girls went, "Ohh! So Sweet..." (It's all part of the strategy)

Mom was glad she went... She says, "Now we know what you all are up to when you go for these mysterious Christian camps. Not so worried lar."

hehhe... Once upon a time, I got teased by my classmates bcos Mom insisted to wait in school till the bell rings. Got so mad, I told her to go home rather harshly... and it must have hurt her very much.

On that night itself, TV showed a Malay movie abt an ungrateful son who disowned his mother... That must be God's way of showing me what remorse and guilt felt like!

I'd better not disclose any more info abt "Prem", but since my cousins had Thai, Iban and Malay wives, I'm seriously thinking of 'internationalising' our genealogy

Interested candidates can still send in resume to hedonese@yahoo.com

Shortlisted candidates will be notified via mail, to participate in a final round of mud wrestling in order to find THE ONE...

Alpha, dun worry... The announcement on the Grand Final results will be posted right here! haha...

Jangan 'putus asa'! The application is still open indefinitely hahaha... Just got four more applications from Thailand, yup, I'm officially 'promoted' to be one of their 'kicks'.

They called my mother "Mama" so naturally she approved all of them... heheh...

A 'kick' is someone who is 'more than a friend' but not yet a boyfriend. My guess is, I can get 'kicked' out as easily as I got in.

Hi there! Ahem ahem.... Prem here. Let me clarify a few things... firstly, I did not read this blog until today when a friend mysteriuosly suggested I go read it. Imagine my surprise? :o) Secondly, when Dave said he held HER hand, it was his MUM's hand that he held. Not mine as I didn't even have a chance to walk along the beach cos the one time I had a chance to go to the beach, it was high tide so no beach. My Room-mate Ms Sarah can vouch for me cos she was there as well! :o) Thirdly, remind me to strangle you the next time I see you Dave dear~! :o) Lastly, to all of Dave's kicks out there...not to worry. Dave and me... we're just friends and this all started out as a joke so Dave is still up for grabs! Notice the way Dave has phrased it... "was in the running". Got kicked out! Poor me. haha. So not to worry and don't be dissapointed cos all who are interested can still email your resumes to Dave. :O)

Hi Prem! Thanks for the clarification.

Needed that very badly, otherwise my market price will continue its dramatic drop, haha!

Who sez anything abt 'kicked out'? My Mom keeps asking abt you lar...

Aiyah Dave, you are a "blue chips", market price will be secured no matter what...though the price fluctuates sometimes due to bargain hunting activities, but don't worry, brother!! ") Glad that Perm replied you, showing progression...keep it up!!!

uh-oh dave... prem already wants to strangle you even before she wins the whole contest. not too good a sign huh?? maybe your mom might see it as headstrong and decisive, and its a positive thing?? prem prem, dont break his heart like that... he's invested quite a bit, taking the risk with bringing his mom to the i-Bridge camp. dont worry dave, you know we'll all be supporting you!!

In some cultures, strangulation is a sign of affection... it's something like ice-cream, which Sarah taught me, was... "apa nama..." aphrodisiac? hope i got the spelling right.

Besides stranggling people, iBridge folks also taught me something abt cuffs and whips... Dun ask me how it works, ok cos I really dun have a clue!

oh yea! I heard Chooi Li's voice on the radio this morning... it's so sweet, and chirpy and happy to listen to... You really ARE a newscaster on a Mandarin radio channel!

Dave was the one who somewhat got me into the
committee. He was asking around if anyone was keen. So
I chatted and clarified with him over Yahoo Messenger
and he told me that my help will be most appreciated.
Of course, my picture of how he looks like was totally
different from his actual person. Can't imagine he's
so wacky in real-life, fun and funny! Yet, he has his
serious side. His faith and love for Jesus is
outstanding, an example for me to look up to. Also had
the opportunity to see his caring side. Totally
impressed when he drove all the way back to Ilham to
pick us up for supper when he was almost near the
mamak place, which was rather far. He's the type that
you can depend on when you need a friend. As a few of
us girls have mentioned, Dave has his own queue of
admirers... waiting for him to make his choice. The
one whom he choose in the end will definitely be very
happy.
