Can't read Thai, but I believe this restaurant is called "Chine Club", in MBK (a huge shopping complex for bargains, near the Patumwan Princess hotel lobby). We had 3 consecutive meals at this place...
Here, four beautiful Thai female colleagues graciously showed us around the city, Chatuchak market etc. and even paid the bills. Warm hospitality... They called my parents - Papa and Mama; and officially conferred upon me the honorary 'kick', a term for someone who is 'more than friend but not yet boyfriend'...
I suppose it's a limbo stage where you are in the running for either getting kicked out or into courtship... Those who have languished in this no-man's-land will know..
