WWDD

My sister's carplate number 513 came out first prize in the TOTO lottery this month.

Unfortunately, we didn't have the habit of buying lottery. And my parents missed it also. Shucks, so near yet so far from being a millionaire... but at least, I can have a bit of a reverie. (Rev.Piper won't like this, I know)

What Would Dave Do With A Million Dollars?

1. Put half of it in a managed fund so that I dun hafta work for the next 90 years

2. Spend RM 100,000 to get a M Div in Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando. Maybe can study under Van Tilian 'guru' - John Frame?

3. Spend RM 100,000 to start a bookshop in SS2 (right between Evangel and Salvation)
a joint venture with SKS (Spore) that carries books from Crossway, P&R, Banner of
Truth, Multmonah and CDs from PDI.

4. Spend RM 200,000 to start a L'Abri resort in Genting Highlands where spiritual seekers can stay, work, fellowship and dialogue abt ethics, life and faith.

5. Tithe RM 100,000 to iBridge, Asian Outreach, Our Daily Bread, Campus Crusade, FES, Scripture Union, CDPC etc

Hahahahahaaaa.....!! I'm happy at last!!

Just wonder how come salvation and evangel always open shops near to each other? Other than SS2, this scenario also occured in megamall kuantan(until the recent close down of salvation in kuantan).
Is this a (healthy) rivalry, or a planned act to give customers convenience? (i can't find a book here, so i go to the other one near by)
I would welcome a new book store :D do import Chinese christian books too! As I find choices in Mandarin quite scarce..

Heheh! Maybe it's 'economy of scales'... the lorry comes to SS2 and unload stuffs for both stores, get cheaper costs?? heheh... there's some kind of sibling rivalry, i suspect, but all for the good of customers!

Yea! I should import some Chinese resources from Gereja Reformed Injili in Indonesia (www.stemi.org)
