Thanks to the sacrifice and effort of mission-minded 'reformers' like Rev Wong, Wai Fong, Peter Rowan, Soo Inn, Steven Sim, Leon and so many others... It was a great success! CDPC is taking baby steps in God-centered mission work... proclamation and demonstration of the gospel in Subang Jaya.
In his Sunday sermon, Mike Raiter talks about how we could live now in the light of what Christ has done 'then' (in the past). I like the bit he said about "retirement is not biblical"... Dun bring mere seashells, golf trophies to the Master!
But didn't quite like the bit about...
"He who put his hands to the plough and look back are not fit for service in the Kingdom..." Ouch!!! Too close to home..
