Passion Cafe

The Agora is brainstorming a few "face-to-face" God-chats with university students, reflective non-Christians at the Passion Cafe.

Li Shuan caught the vision to start this cafe, after studying for a while at Regent College, Vancouver. Here, she saw how ministry could be done literally in the marketplace... a safe and friendly environment where seekers can explore the faith. (Jonathan's church literally did their worship in Starbucks??!!)

You dun need to water down the message... Bring it to the people, where they are. Isn't that what Wesley, Whitefield and Bunyan did?

Sounds fun?

As a pastor once said - "Just Do It" in the name of Jehovah Nike, lar... Yea, she gave the Agora an invitation to do some events there.

So I'd like to experiment using this place as a conducive environment for friendly discussions about life, ethics, philsophy and, of course, God as revealed in the face of Jesus Christ.

It has a nice ambience and the Hedonese did smuggle some of his book collections into the bookshelf (dun worry, light readings onli...)

Great music, unique food and reasonable price...
