JumpStart A Revolution

After Agora, Jee Seng and I made our way to Passion Cafe for the launch of new exciting IMPACT ministry, which goes beyond transition to transformation.

Soo Inn said it was an apt venue because revolutions do not start with a gun... They normally start in a cafe, where powerful ideas are whispered... whose time has come... when ordinary people sense something is wrong, and wanna do something not-so-ordinary. I was busy passing out tracts and pamphlets.

He also gave a short message on servant leadership based on Jesus' feet-washing exercise which turned our notion of power, authority and prestige topsy-turvy.

Jesus defines leadership in terms of sacrificial service, which does not preclude legitimate authority. We are to be rooted in our identity as child of God as we impact society.

Amen, I'd say "Lets unashamedly pursue ambition to influence society for the glory of God!"
