Integrity Congress III

Dear friends,

Whoa! Things are heating up around here after I posted a 'story' about my pilgrimage in MN. Just came back from Fargo, a town 3 hours drive away, quiet lil' place... Sleepy, sleepy...

and had to entertain half a dozen mails from Malaysia on whether Jesus existed la, whether He rose from the dead la, about some politics at TRAC la etc. etc...

Will entertain those 'defensive mode' comments once I recovered from the trip. In the meantime, some 'constructive' work to do...

Check this out: the 3rd National Congress on Integrity co-organised by OHMSI and GCF Malaysia.

Do sign up at this link.

This time we will have a dialogue between Dr Ravi Zacharias (Christian biblical-theological perspective) a comparative religion scholar and Prof. Syed Hussein Alatas (Islamic perspective), one of the foremost living philosophers in Malaysia.

This is a crucial dialogue as we build bridges to the Muslim community and engage in discussion on the issue of integrity in Malaysian society.

Attendent issues are - public accountability, transparency, corruption, abuse of power and the building of structures that will promote integrity in Malaysia.

Pray that the Lord will make use of it for the sake of the Gospel and the tranformation of individuals and society.

PS: When we met Ravi in Bali a year ago, he seems to be tentative in his evaluations on the Emerging church... some time has passed, he seemed to have formed some views on the matter now. I wonder, what does he think about it now? This post would be a good conversation starter over a meal with Ravi Zacharias at the mamak stall
